Hi, It’s been a truly amazing and wonderful time I had during my Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy Surgery in India, the kind of hospitality showcased by the people really touched me. Never did we found any prejudice or nuisance while staying in India for my Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy Surgery. Well, I am Mrs. Ezeani from Nigeria. I am now free from the pain due to inflammation of gallbladder. Thank a million to my medical consultant Forerunners Healthcare Consultancy, who managed all my medical affairs in India. Just few months back, I often encountered pain in the right upper abdomen just below the margin of the ribs, which remained constant with frequent variations. Initially, I ignored thinking it as normal stomach pain, but when I discovered its frequent presence, I consulted the local doctor. With few tests and examinations, he informed me that I am suffering from inflammation of Gallbladder, and that I now require Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy Surgery. I was really unnerved to learn this, and wanted to get rid of this problem as soon as I could, hence didn’t wait long to find any solutions back at my place. On my friend’s suggestion I and my husband browsed the internet to finaly find a medical consultant called Forerunners Healthcare Consultancy from India. After going through their site, I realized that the packages offered were quiet affordable and within my reach, and traveling for my Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy Surgery in India is an easy process. I then dropped them an e-mail about my Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy Surgery. I got an instant reply followed by a call. The executive explained me the procedure of getting my surgery in India, and requested me to send my medical reports. After having an expert opinion on the same, he called me up with competent packages pertaining to my Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy Surgery in India. After discussing further with my husband I made my mind to fly for my Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy Surgery in India.
Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy Surgery requires several small incisions in the abdomen to allow the insertion of operating ports, small cylindrical tubes approximately 5-10 mm in diameter, through which surgical instruments and a video camera are placed into the abdominal cavity. The camera illuminates the surgical field and sends a magnified image from inside the body to a video monitor, giving the surgeon a close-up view of the organs and tissues. The surgeon watches the monitor and performs the Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy Surgery by manipulating the surgical instruments through the operating ports. My Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy Surgery in India, commenced when I was first anesthetized and placed in the supine position on the operating table. A scalpel was used to make a small incision at the umbilicus. Using either a Veress needle or Hasson technique the abdominal cavity is entered. The surgeon inflated the abdominal cavity with carbon dioxide to create a working space. The camera was placed through the umbilical port and the abdominal cavity was inspected. Additional ports were placed inferior to the ribs at the epigastric, midclavicular, and anterior axillary positions. The gallbladder fundus was identified, grasped, and retracted superiorly. With a second grasper, the gallbladder infundibulum was retracted laterally to expose and open Calot's Triangle (the area bound by the cystic artery, cystic duct, and common hepatic duct). The triangle was gently dissected to clear the peritoneal covering and obtain a view of the underlying structures. The cystic duct and the cystic artery were identified, clipped with tiny titanium clips and cut. Then the gallbladder was dissected away from the liver bed and removed through one of the ports. This type of Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy Surgery requires meticulous surgical skill, which the Indian surgeons are competent enough to handle.
Following my Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy Surgery in India, I was able to leave the hospital the next morning, since my condition allowed me to return to Nigeria the very next day. I had some incisional discomfort, nausea and shoulder pain was there for 2 days after my Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy Surgery in India. I soon resumed my normal activities within seven days, with no restrictions on lifting or exercising by my doctor. I have recovered now and enjoying a healthy and pain free life. At this point, let me thank everyone including my medical consultant, and my surgeon who performed my Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy Surgery in India. May God bless them all!Thank you,
